“I trulli di Paolo” is a large country house belonging to our family for over three generations, a magic place rich of strong roots and traditions, far away from the chaos of the big cities.
The property aims to offer a special place to spend your holidays, reserved to adult demanding guests to ensure a charming stay and indulge in utter relax whilst enjoying the maximum privacy. This place offers pure rest and serenity. Here you can lose yourself in the silence of the open countryside, count the falling stars, listen to the birdsong at dawn or watch the sunset from the window of the secular “trullo”, feel the fresh fragrance of lavender in bloom moved by the breeze or the strong and unmistakable aroma of the leaves of the secular fig.

"I trulli di Paolo" are located in the typical “Murgese” countryside in the district named “Franzullo” which is about 8 km from Martina Franca, a historic baroque city in Apulia - in the province of Taranto - known for its attractive and majestic churches, the famous music “Festival of the Itria Valley” and for the delicious food.
"I trulli di Paolo" are conveniently located, an ideal starting point to head off towards many nearby tourist attractions on a day trip.

A private vehicle is recommended to reach the property and to commute to nearby shops, cafés, restaurants and main tourist attractions.
HOUSE DESCRIPTION
“I trulli di Paolo" is an ensemble of seven trulli (1), one lamia (2) and one cummerse (3), typical constructions of the region, which form one large house of more than 200 square meters, finely refurbished in 2010 to offer high comfort. The house is divided as follows:
• living area: main entrance, spacious dining room with fireplace and TV area, kitchen and bathroom;
• resting area: four secular “trulli” divided into sitting room with second entrance and study with fireplace;
• sleeping area: three “trulli”, one “lamia” and one “cummerse”. Rooms have queen-size beds and are divided from each other by single doors to ensure privacy. Of the three bedrooms only two have their own private bathroom: the one in the “trullo” has the bathroom with shower in the “cummerse” while the second bedroom is in the “lamia” and has a bathroom with a single whirlpool tub and shower.
All rooms are bright spacious, welcoming and comfortable.
The house is finely furnished with family antiques. A small book collection (mainly in Italian) is available to avid readers and a Yamaha electric piano is ready to be played by music lovers.
The exterior is outlined by a low stonewall with flower beds of aromatic plants and fruit trees, a stone wishing well, two large squares and a spacious patio. The whole outdoor area is furnished with tables, chairs, deck chairs, benches and hay bales, bbq. Beyond the enclosure, the property extends for two hectares, adorned with a hundred young olive trees as well as several fruit trees.
